Marvin Gaye Biopic "Sexual Healing" Trailer & Info

There are rumblings that the much hyped but long delayed Marvin Gaye biopic Sexual Healing just might see the light of day. The Julien Temple helmed project starring Law and Order franchise alums Jesse L. Martin as Marvin Gaye, S. Epatha Merkerson as Alberta Cooper Gay along with Dwight Henry as controversial Marvin Gay, Sr.  ran into some financial challenges last year.

Via Tambay Oberson at IndieWire Blog, the jawn may premiere at the 2015 Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah. The film is set in the early 1980s, and focuses on the making of the "Midnight Love" album, while Gaye was living in Belgium - a drug addict, considered something of a has-been at the time.
