Tawatha Agee - Unsung Diva
Growing up with a mom who loved great music is better than butter in this bloggers opinion. I mean, there isn't a soul on earth that hasn't experienced a good groove to move to.
Trendsetting group MTUME gave us some great joints to jam to such as: C.O.D. (Deliver), You, Me and He and many more. Not only was the groove just right but the lead vocals from Tawatha Agee helped take the selections over the top.
Tawatha has sung with all the big names such as Angela Winbush, Luther Vandros, Aretha Franklin and many many more. She did release her own project back in the day with an infectious ballad that we love her entitled Did I Dream You.
Check her out singing that jawn along with some other hits with MTUME. Gosh we wish we could interview this amazing lady, just putting it out into the universe.
