Mushroom & Barley Soup
It's a fast night here at LIRM and we have something healthy and quick for our faithful readers to whip up in their kitchen.

Ingredients:
1 Lb of Button Sliced Mushrooms
1 Chopped Tomato
2 Chopped Carrots
1 Chopped Onion
2 Chopped Celery Sticks
2 Tablespoon of Chopped Parsley
1/2 of Barley
6 Cups of Water
Fresh Ground Black Pepper
Instructions:
1. Place Mushrooms, tomatoes, carrots, onion, celery, parsley and water in a large saucepan.
2. Reduce heat and cover, simmer for one hour.
3. Season to taste with black pepper.
