It's that time so let's just get right on into this weeks recap of Episode 5 of Power entitled You're Not The Man.
HOLLY IS HEADED OUT:
Holly's departure is affecting so many people on the landscape but none as much as Tommy. The last time we saw Holly she was running away from Tommy, who was locked to the bed in handcuffs, after she confessed that the Feds had been trying to make her turn on her man. Holly tried to get her Tammy Wynette on - She stood by her man but he wasn't feeling so she hit the road.
SEX ME BABY, BABY SEX ME:
Tasha and Ghost are still trying to keep Angela at bay and Ghost, who better listen to his pissed wife, is sexing the lawyer like a good drug dealer should. Tasha is slowly coming to the forefront as a person with power by making sure things are in order just in case Angela takes Ghost down. Ole girl is checking to see if Angela has had the home or the cars tapped with hidden microphones and shit.
She is also having to deal with a smitten Shawn whose nose is WIDE OPEN for her. I mean after the way she turned that boy out she better hope Kanan doesn't find out cause we know he is crazy as catshit. The embattled wife is also meeting with a lawyer who discusses the prenup that she signed with Ghost so she can get gone but her lawyer schools her on how to survive being his wife and keeping the money vs leaving.
OFF SHORE COINS:
Ghost is dealing with keeping an eye on a plethora of people including Stern, getting his club back and watching his back from people like Dre aka Kanan's right hand man. Ghost is keeping his eye on everybody ESPECIALLY Kanan but Dre gets him off his track by putting a bug in Ghost's ear about Shawn possibly being a snitch which we know he won't do.
Ghost puts the screws to Shawn and tells his loyal driver that he doesn't trust him and to tell his daddy that he said it. Ghost do you realize how crazy Kanan is??? Mannnnnnnnn you don't even much see that Shawn is texting and sexing your wife???
Ghost better watch his damn back. The situation with Stern is getting serious because Ghost is finding out that there is some major embezzlement going on in the company courtesy of Stern. Looks like Stern is bleeding Ghost dry and placing the money in a private account in the Cayman Islands. Ghost meets with Stern's wife asks her about a certain company that her husband owns and she gives him insight into her husbands shady business dealings. Mrs. Stern confirms to Ghost that her husband set up is a dummy corporation based under the name of their dead daughter.
MELTDOWN MODE:
Tommy is in full meltdown mode the morning after watching Holly leave him and he is in a BAD place. He is doing MAJOR blow all around the loft apartment and being super suspicious with his team of street guys. He later gets it on with TWO redheads and we know that he loves redheads which also includes his mother. *BLANK STARE*
Holly got Tommy cold going mad like the 357 Girls from Oakland.
Angela and Greg are closing in on Ghost and the team but she is also playing a mental cat and mouse game with her ex lover to keep her current lover in the clear. We said it last week and we gonna say it one more again - Greg is gonna keep on pressing the issue and end up sleeping with the fishes.
BREAK UP TO MAKE UP:
Angela confronts Ghost and lets him know that she knows that Tommy killed Holly because she can't find the on the run thief anywhere. Little does she know that Ghost ran her out of town and he doesn't say otherwise. Girl are you really that dumb?? I refuse to believe Angela doesn't really get whats going on.
She pushes him to confess but he doesn't so she bolts but before she can hit the elevator he stops her and confirms that Holly is alive and using an alias.
DUMB MOVE GHOST!!!!
SEXING AND TEXTING:
Tasha is rocked to the core by the advice from her lawyer and is comforted by Shawn who tells her that he cares about her and wants to take care of her and her kids and momma. Boy If you don't get somewhere! The two secret lovers end up in the fancy shower - TOGETHER - and they get IT IN but something about Shawn just screams - You diss me and I will kill you later.
ANGELA YOU IN DANGER GIRL:
Luiz is another cat that Ghost needs to watch out for because the sneaky drug dealer wants more stake on the streets. He is proving to be a formiable foe but Ghost can't deal with that right now because he has to deal with Tommy's erratic behavior and prompt street deals. Tommy tells Ghost that he and his boys was pulled over by the cops but Ghost knows that his mistress is putting the fire to his best friend. Tommy is gunning for Angela and Ghost knows it and he reaches out to the one person who can help him - TASHA!!
Ghost does the most unthinkable thing in the world by running to his wife and asking her to help him stop Tommy for killing Angela. After reads her cheating husband like Dr. Seuss novel, Tasha stops Tommy from killing Angela and she talks some mental sense into Tommy.
HOTEL MOTEL HOLIDAY INN:
Angela tracks Holly down in a seedy motel and asks her why she took off. The two ladies trade barbs about their prospective boyfriends and wouldn't you know Holly lies and says she lied about Ghost being Ghost and Angela being who she is -- BELIEVES her. Once Angela leaves, Holly takes Ghost off the mute/speaker and lets him know that Angela bought the lie she told. He sends her more money to stay away in a move that is just like JR Ewing.
AT&T/T-MOBILE LIES:
Since Angela bought Holly's lie hook, line and sinker she heads right on over to her lovers house and gets some of that familiar loving. Being the ever nosy federal prosecutor that she is, she puts him to bed and puts a call in to her tech guy who puts a trace on Ghost's phone.
