The day just got better and good eating has everything to do with it. LIRM is always in the position of creating and sharing tasteful dishes for our readers and thankfully one of our readers sent us a recipe to stop traffic. This blogger was looking for an amazing recipe in the area of dessert and our friend hairstylist to the masses Naeemah Carre.
Check out this recipe that we christened Berry Banana Bread by Naeemah and see won't you find yourself pulling out the mixer, fruit, spoons and forks. I personally believe Naeemah should open a catering business and ship her dishes across the USA.
Ingredients:
2 eggs
1⁄2 cup butter
1 cup white sugar
1 cup smashed bananas (about 2 bananas)
1 1⁄2 cup flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. vanilla extract
2 tsp. Almond extract
1⁄2 cup sour cream
1 cup flour coated slices strawberries
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix ingredients in a large bowl or better yet a food processor.
Pour into 2 greased loaf pans and bake for 35 – 40 minutes.
If you make mini muffins like me just spray some cooking spray (preferably the baking kind that has flour). Bake the muffins for 20 – 25 minutes. Allow to cool and enjoy with a little Honey butter (just butter mixed with honey).
*I'm SO ready to mix this dish up for me and the fiance'*
