I can still hear my great aunt sharing her stories of yesterday and all that it encompassed. I was that bright eyed, bushy tailed tyke who lived off her every word.

One of my favorite stories is that of Ike & Tina Turner's stormy relationship that often played out on the stage. My aunt clearly remembers seeing them live in concert and also witnessing Ike's wrath. Once the autobiographical "What's Love Got To Do With It" was released, she was back to her rich experiences and stories regarding Ike & Tina.

One of my favorite scenes is when Tina played to perfection by Angela Bassett decides to fight back against the Ike played to the hilt by Lawrence Fishburn. Check out some of these poignant scenes from the movie and let us know what you think.
