LIRM Artistic Spotlight ~ Ellen Parker "Maureen Bauer" INTENSE

Often it has been said that big things come in small packages. Some will agree/disagree with the aforementioned statement but here at LIRM, we have found proof that it rings true.

Many actors/actresses get their acting experiences from participating in the daytime genre but every now and then they come in experienced.

Ellen Parker is one of those experienced actors who comes into the field with experience under her belt. Parker's first role was that of embattled wife "Ethel Kennedy" in the miniseries "Kennedy". She would go on to enhance the screen with noted roles in Law & Order, Ed as well as the Legendary film "Kramer vs Kramer" with Icons Dustin Hoffman and Meryl Streep.

One of Ellen's most intense tour de force performances is that of   heartbroken "Maureen Bauer" on Guiding Light. Her scenes where her character confronts her cheating spouse are what garnered her a Daytime Emmy Award.

The intensity in her eyes, the emotional toll it takes on her character and the tragic consequences that transpire after her delivery are simply haunting.  After leaving the show, Ms. Parker continued to perform in New York based productions as well as raised a family.

Check out her performance and you will agree that she nail it too the wall.
