Taraji P. Henson Snags Coveted Role In Adaptation of Osha Gray Davidson's The Best of Enemies

Taraji P. Henson is recovering from her stint in the hospital but make no mistake that she's not due to slow down any time soon.

The Empire lead actress just snagged the lead role in the adaptation of Osha Gray Davidson's best seller The Best Of Enemies.

The plot of the movie steams from a true to life battle between Klu Klux Klan member C.P. Ellis and Ann Atwater, a single mother from the poor black part of town, quit her job as a household domestic to join the civil rights fight. During the 1960s, as the country struggled with the explosive issue of race, Atwater and Ellis met on opposite sides of the public school integration issue. Their encounters were charged with hatred and suspicion.

That Taraji reign just won't let up!!!!
