The stars and supporters of the highly anticipated biopic
Selma came together last night in Hollywood, California to showcase the Ava DuVernay directed project. Presented during the 2014 AFI FEST stars like Oprah Winfrey, who not only stars in it but is also producing the project, along with Tessa Thompson, Common, David Oyelowo, Ledisi, Neicy Nash and more hit the red carpet with excitement.
Due out January 5, 2014, the film stars David Oyelowo as Dr. Martin Luther King, Carmen Ejogo as Coretta Scott King, Ledisi as Mahalia Jackson, Tom Wilkinson as President Lyndon B. Johnson and rapper Common among many others.
