Being from Louisiana, this blogger always enjoys when Hollywood casts a positive light on something from my area. The super successful movie Steel Magnolias always causes me to smile, laugh, cry and so much more with stars like Sally Fields, Dolly Parton, Darryl Hannah and many more starring in this masterpiece.

Based on Louisiana native Robert Harlings stage play of the same name, the movie is poised for a comeback with an amazing Lifetime Network production. This time around the cast consists of Queen Latifah, Phylicia Rashad, Jill Scott, Condola Rashad, Alfre Woodard and Adepero Oduye.
