Oprah Winfrey's insightful interview with First Lady Michelle Obama brought the ratings for CBS last night. Part two part event won its time period with 9.39 million viewers, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Monday, Dec. 19.


The special delivered CBS's largest audience in the Monday (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) time period since Oct. 17.

Winfrey's OWN (Oprah Winfrey Network) will then air the second showing of the event on the Wednesday, Dec. 21 at 9pm/10pm et/pt.  Oprah will highlight Mrs. Obama's eight years in office and will give viewers a glimpse into the world of at 1600 Pennsylvania Aveune and more.
