Famed 90s Staple - It's Showtime At The Apollo Set for A Comeback

The famed 90's show It's Showtime at The Apollo is making a comeback. 

Wait Wait - not weekly - yet - like years ago but for one special night of stars, amateurs and more. Former host Steve Harvey, who got his chops weekly on the then top rated series, is set to return for that special one night.

Executive-produced by Jim Roush, Chris Wagner and Reginald Hudlin the two-hour star-studded event will air Monday, Dec. 5 8:00-10:00pm ET/PT on FOX. Additionally their's a tentative one-hour special, also hosted by Harvey, will air in early 2017. 

The family feud/talk show/radio show host is pretty hyped about the return, "I'm excited to be going back home to the Apollo to celebrate the history of this great theater," said Harvey. "I have great memories from my time there, and this is going to be a homecoming party that you won't want to miss."

Hopefully we will see famed Apollo co host Kiki Shepard return as well.
