VH1's Hip Hop Squares Renewed for Season 2

VH1 and rapper/entrepreneur Ice Cube dropped news today that it's breakout hit series Hip Hop Squares is confirmed for a second season. 

Viewership has risen in the past few weeks to serious heights and you know VH1 had no other choice but to snatch this gem up - quick!!! Based on the iconic game show "Hollywood Squares" and hosted by DeRay Davis, the show features some of the biggest names in hip hop, comedy and entertainment as they come to play and stay to party, match wits and test their pop culture knowledge with the superstar squares. 

According to Cube, he's pretty impressed when it comes to the show. "The positive response to 'Hip Hop Squares' has been an incredible experience," says Ice Cube. "My team and I are grateful to VH1 and everyone who has worked incredibly hard to make the show a success.
