Iconic rapper Tupac Shakur's life is/has been the subject of various documentaries, vintage interviews and speculations. The late rapper, who died in 1996, impressive and intense life is set for the big screen in the form of a biopic.
Directed by famed director Benny Boom, the film chronicles Shakur's rise to prominence in the rap industry. Not only a talented artist but an equally impressive actor (JUICE, Poetic Justice, Above The Rim), the rapper would blaze a trail unlike any artist that has come after him.
The film stars Demetrius Shipp Jr. in the lead role, Danai Gurira as his mother Afeni Shakur, Jamal Woolard as Christopher "BIG" Wallace, Dominic Santana as Suge Knight and Kat Graham as Jada Pinkett.
The film is set for release on Shakur's birthday, June 16, 2017.
