Ed Gordon Headed to Bounce TV + VH1 Options Late Night Talk Show with Marc Lamont Hill

Lovers of journalism are on cloud nine today as news dropped that famed journalist Ed Gordon is headed back to our television screens courtesy of Bounce TV.

The impressive cable network announced to that that Gordon is set for the networks first trendsetting move in the form of a primetime news magazine format. Now only is Bounce changing the game with fresh television programming but having someone of Gordon's caliber is sure to bring massive viewership. 

"From President Obama to Louis Farrakhan, from Beyoncé to O.J. Simpson, Ed is a trusted confidante of African-American newsmakers who define our culture. His insightful reporting and courageous storytelling make him the perfect journalist to shepherd our first news magazine show," said Ri-Karlo Handy, Senior Vice President of Original Programming for Bounce TV.

The show is set to premiere Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at 10pm and Gordon  spoke on his love for his craft and Bounce TV and commented, "We are going to produce the kind of program I have always wanted to do. We'll provide perspective and give our audience a more complete picture of the major issues. I'll be able to talk one-on-one with the day's newsmakers and celebrities and get them to open up.

VH1 is getting into the talk show row with VH1 LIVE hosted by well known commentator/debator Marc Lamont Hill. Set for premiere Sunday, July 17, 2016 at 10pm, Hill will be interviewing high celebs, delivering trend setting news including entertainment news and gossip.
