Tonight was so LIT - The season finale was EPIC and we have all the high points - well, at least in our eyes - so lets get it.
SPILLING SECRETS:
Via flashbacks, Frank is seen with a potential one night stand who stops him mid fellatio and gives him a bag of money like Rick Ross on a platinum selling song. Frank is actually allowing Annalise, the young pregnant legal eagle, to talk to him like he's a piece of trash because he's tapping her room due to his potential sex machine's machinations. Annalise is being watched and taped by Wes's father who sets a plan in motion that resulted in Anna Mae losing her baby. After the baby died, Frank confessed to Sam that he was a part of the scheme via Wes's father which in turn caused Frank to owe Sam and him to murder Lila for him.
DADDY'S BABY:
Anna Mae is in Memphis visiting her family which includes her strong willed mother Ophelia, her hard working sister Celestine and her absentee father. Miss Ophelia has all her family and friends seeing her baby who is having a hard time with all them folks especially daddy dearest. The legal eagle is not even much trying to hear her father's hello and she finds out that her mom and dad are back together - gross.
Annalise and her sister Celestine go at it about life's issues such as taking care of their mom, her anger with her father and before long her boo thang Nate shows up pleading with her to come home. Miss Ophelia's loins get to getting moist at the sight of Anna Mae's boy toy and she feeds him some good ole soul food.
This family has some deep rooted issues and it comes out at the dinner table between Anna Mae and her father and mom. Ms. Ophelia actually hurts her daughter to the core by saying it's her own fault that she never had any children but we now know that's not true. Later Annalise confesses to her mom that she did in fact have a baby but he died which rocks Miss Ophelia to her core. Mother Ophelia tells her baby girl that she is having a hard time in life because she tries to do things on her own.
Annalise is shocked out of her sleep, dragged down stairs to the backyard where her mom tells her to write her baby boy Sam Keating Jr. a note and bury it in the back yard. This scene was crazy good as Anna Mae digs a grave and buries the letter in the most emotional scene of the series. The next morning Annalise and her dad trade emotional barbs with each other and before long we realize that she and her father are the same.
KEATING 5:
The Keating 5 are also having a time trying to keep things together due to their boss aka legal savior Annalise being out of town. Laurel is hung over like a mug tonight and we all know that the girl needs a good comb and brush to get her life together.
Wes actually confides in Laurel with the news about his rich father. Michaela gets her freak on - a slight bit - with Asher but stops mid flight and leaves him with a problem between his legs. The team also realize that they have a mole in the Keating camp and go over files and police surveillance where they soon find the guilty culprit - Caleb. The team eventually catch Anna Mae on the phone and she swings into superwoman mode.
BATH TIME:
The DA gets to stick it to Annalise with proof from Caleb but our favorite lawyer doesn't let him get to her. We flash back to Annalise being attacked by Phillip who supplies her with proof that Caleb killed his mother, set up Catherine and much more. The tables of justice turn and we find Caleb in a hotel bathtub dead from an apparent suicide. Something about Caleb's death just doesn't seem honest and we believe he was murdered instead.
Bonnie tires to talk to Annalise concerning Frank's dilemma and she tells Bonnie that Frank needs to be fired. Laurel heads over to Franks house and can't find him anywhere - dude is on the run.
Meanwhile, Wes finds his father coming out of his building and tells his rude ass father that he is his son but before he can truly answer?? Someone kills him right before Wes's eyes.
WHAT A FINALE!!!!!
