Comedic Icon Joan Rivers Dies at 81

Today the world is quieter because of the loss of an enigma, Fashion Police host and reality star Joan Rivers, who's career spanned decades. Many of us were quietly hoping and praying that she would pull thru however that is just not the case.

Born Joan Alexandra Molinsky, she got her start by pounding the pavement in Greenich Village, NY before connecting with the late great Johnny Carson. She would go on to be one of the first female comedians to host her own late night talk show "The Late Show Starring Joan Rivers" as well as a successful daytime talk show, The Joan Rivers Show, for which she won a daytime emmy. 


Thankfully we have hours and hours of video and concert material that will have us laughing for ages to come.
