Lisa Page Brooks- Positive Role Model



The lights come on, the music peers thru the sound system and the crowd is standing at attention. A young woman is preparing to belt out a harmonious tune and impress thousands. Little does anyone know but the path that she is preparing to take on and the places she has risen from will mold her into the greatness she is destined for.

She knows that she has a gift to bless many people in the world but there are major hurdles to overcome. Throughout the process of her life, she recognizes and accepts the the gift and call that she has been given.

Lisa Page Brooks knows firsthand of the blessings and challenges that encompass a talented and humbled woman of faith. Best known as the featured lead vocalist with the popular female contemporary gospel group Witness, Lisa Page Brooks has traveled the world and received many accolades.


Witness was also the vehicle that this Detroit native used to launch her professional music career in 1986. While a member of the group, Brooks' husky alto was featured on such popular hits as "Song in the Night," "You'll Never Walk Alone," "Resting in Him," and "Standard," among others.
This led to the group being recognized with a 1991 Grammy nomination for Best Group/Duo, a 1991 GMWA Excellence Award for Best Group, and a 1993 Stellar Award for Best Performance Group/Duo. Along with being a Grammy nominated artist, her biggest accomplishments is that of wife, mother and grandmother.

In 1997, Brooks embarked on a solo career. Her debut solo effort, the 1997 critically acclaimed release More Than You'll Ever Know, drew an enormous amount of industry attention toward Brooks. For the album, she received a 1997 Dove Award nomination for Best New Artist as well as winning the 1997 Stellar Award in the same category.
Lisa and her husband, the world renowned Michael Brooks, former member of the popular, trend-setting contemporary gospel group, Commissioned, embarked upon the Highest Calling of all. After much prayer, Restoration Fellowship Church International was birth and it has exceeded the naysayers as well as the goals set before it.



Lisa serves in the pastoral capacity along with her husband and she has a heart for hurting souls. “By sharing the word of God, we restore one another in the spirit of meekness through the love of Jesus Christ,” exclaims Lisa.




In October of 2009, Lisa released her third project, simply titled, "Strong." This project encompasses what one would ever expect for a season artist of Lisa’s caliber. From the beginning title selection of “God is Good”, Lisa takes each listener on a clear and precise journey of the solution to day to day hardships in the lives of many.


Never one to allow grass to grow under her feet, Lisa added author to her repertoire and in February of 2010, “In The Process” was released. “The book tells the story of how you can be born into a life of drugs and how you can overcome the negativity of a difficult childhood thru seeking God,” states Lisa.


In a time where it’s almost impossible to find positive role models, we find one who has been in preparation since her conception, Lisa Page Brooks – touchable ROLE MODEL!!!
