Alfre Woodard Set to Be Honored via 2016 Toronto Black Film Festival



It's about time a quality acting legend get some love and adoration from their peers. Excuse our frustration BUT Alfre Woodard is set to be honored with a Career Achievement Award during the 4th Annual Toronto Black Film Festival.

Woodard, the star of such masterpieces like Crooklyn, LA Law, Desperate Housewives and more, will be honored February 13, 2016 at the Jackman Hall in Ontario. The Emmy, SAG, Golden Globe winner will also be seen via the International Premiere of the film Knucklehead, by Ben Bowman – also starringWoodard. Following the film screening, audience members will get a chance to participate in a Q&A session with the famed actress, the film director and lead actor Gbenga Akinnagbe.
