William J. Bell Receives Lifetime Achievement Award

Being that the landscape of the daytime soap opera has changed in a major way with the cancellations of such great shows as Another World, The Guiding Light and many more, LIRM had to share something amazing.

Who hasn't either heard of or at least watched an episode of the award winning The Young & The Restless on CBS? This serial created by William J. Bell and his wife Lee has entertained the masses with such iconic characters as: Katherine Chancellor, Victor Newman, Drucilla Winters and many more.

Mr. Bell, who has since passed away, also worked on such shows as Another World, As The World Turns, Days of Our Lives all while inspiring countless actors, writers and authors around the world. Check out this vintage piece on this American icon.
